Utilization and Storage technology sets can help reduce emissions from new or existing processes. Carbon can be captured from large stationary sources and transported compressed and injected underground (sequestration/storage) into deep underground rock formations. The Better Plants Program works with partners in the industrial sectors to show their success in using storage technology to substantially reduce their emissions.
